Fishing

Up River

Good quality time with the boys is always on the calendar. Every year, Dane, Lloyd, and Dougy, get together on a fishing trip to share good memories and share their passion for catching fish. This is a story about time spent on the water and what that gives to you as a person, and as a family.

Fishing in some families isn't a past time or a hobby... It's life. As indigenous men from the Mitakooti and Kalkadoon tribes Dane, Lloyd and Dougy have fishing running in their blood. They hold a deep respect for the land and water, it’s a type of respect that rubs off on you and makes you appreciate family bonds.
